Child Safeguarding & Protection Statement
We the Parish of Brackenstown value and encourage the participation of children and young people in parish liturgies and activities in order to enhance their spiritual, physical, emotional, intellectual and social development. We recognise the dignity and rights of all children and are committed to ensuring their protection from all forms of abuse, emotional, physical, sexual and neglect.
In keeping with this we will do all in our power to create safe environments for children and young people in order to secure their protection and enable their full participation in the life of the Church.
This is a commitment binding on all priests and on those who work and volunteer in this Parish.
